"FREE LEONARD PELTIER"
For well over a decade Leonard Peltier has remained a political prisoner of The U.S. Federal Penal System. One of many victims of the "Wounded Knee 2" period Leonard was convicted and incarcerated, though never fairly tried, for crimes of which he remains innocent.
In a 'trial' which unsurprisingly allowed for the prosecutorial tampering of evidence, witnesses and jury it remains one of the most highly controversial cases in the recent history of U.S. vs Indian relations. As such it rightfully takes it's place on the long list of inconsistencies regarding european policy toward the native peoples of this continent.
